Compass Centre (previously Shetland Rape Crisis) | The Compass Centre are closed from Wednesday 21st December 2022 and re-open Monday 9th January 2023. During this time, the NHS Sexual Assault Response Coordination Service is available 24/7 on 0800 148 88 88. And the Rape Crisis Scotland Helpline is also available, 5pm-midnight on 08088 01 03 02. Shetland Women’s Aid | Shetland Woman’s Aid are closed Saturday 24th December – Tuesday 27th December. Open the 28th, 29th and 30th December 2022 and then closed Saturday 31st December 2022 and re-opening Wednesday 4th January 2023. VAS Befriending Scheme | The Shetland Befriending Scheme office will be closed at 4pm on Wednesday 21st December and will re-open on Thursday 5th Jan. If there is no one in the office all volunteers know that if they need to contact someone out of hours they contact duty social work. |

British Red Cross | The British Red Cross will be closing at 3pm on Friday 24th December – 27th December. Open as normal the 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st December. Re-open as normal on Wednesday 4th January 2023. |
